As a member of The Arts Society, Blackwater arranges visits to houses, gardens and museums and galleries. London and the home counties are suitable for day visits by coach. We often obtain the services of guides at museums and galleries and have exclusive pre-arranged entry to houses and special exhibitions. We also have extended tours in the UK by coach with an arranged itinerary and accommodation included. Most recently to Cornwall. Extended holidays abroad are also part of our programme and in recent years we have been to Madrid, Berlin and Nice.
Please note that ALL VISITS will start from Wickham Bishops Church Car Park at 8.30am and will return at approximately 6.30pm unless otherwise notified.
Normally, dates for visits will be confirmed at the meeting held two months previously. To reserve a place, a booking slip must be completed and be accompanied by a cheque payable to The Arts Society Blackwater. You will be able to download a booking form by clicking on the title of the visit. Details of visits with booking forms will appear here as near as possible to the lecture at which they are first available for sale.
Reservations for Extended Tours may be made as soon as the Extended Tour is announced.
Further VISITS may be arranged if the opportunity arises.
